RMEA is locally operated and has local staff available to assist you with your energy needs. Since RMEA is governed by the Rancho Mirage City Council, there is no need to travel to the Public Utilities Commission in San Francisco to have your voice heard.

Only the source of your power generation changes with RMEA purchasing energy on your behalf. Plus you have the added benefit of a local operation with local customer service representatives, ready to assist you.
SPECIAL RATES AND PROGRAMS STILL AVAILABLE
If you have enjoyed special rates or programs in the past, such as CARE, these programs are still offered via SCE. RMEA is also developing new and unique programs expressly for local customers.
HIGHER RENEWABLE CONTENT
While others offer a single plan with limited renewable content, RMEA offers more. You are defaulted to the most cost-effective Base Choice plan but, residential customers can also opt up to Premium Renewable, for our 100% renewable product.
